Don’t focus on the attack but study the strategy

Three men in military clothing, carrying weapons, walk into a field during shelling.

Don’t be concerned with the enemy or focus on the attack, but study the strategy that is being used.

God gives us the tools and never sends us on the battlefield blind; it may feel like that because we have to use blind faith and trust, and believe the battle is won. However, if you feel lost, confused, and afraid, fix your focus from the attack and what will/might happen to the God above it all!

The God who allowed you to go through the battle will never once leave you because He trusts and knows that you’re more than a conqueror. Now it’s up to you to trust what’s already done and who you already are. The surroundings may be overwhelming, but study who, what, when, and why they come. Study how it’s causing you to feel, think, and take your thoughts captive, and surrender them to God. (2 Corinthians 10:5)

God will never send you somewhere without the tools he’s given you to fight the good fight.

1) The Lord goes before us; we only need to be still (Exodus 14:14).

2) Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-17)

3) Resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7)

4) Bodily declare the word over yourself! (Proverbs 18:21)

5) Fix your eyes on the unseen (2 Corinthians 2:14)

6) Then strategize!

On a military base, soldiers never go into an attack without knowing and understanding their bases, taking cover, and studying the opposing side, the enemy. What tactics, weapons, and armor do they use? How many are they, what environment/terrain, and how to use things to their advantage, what to avoid, and what to lean into, predicting behavior, and identifying weaknesses. This is an order of battle (OOB); special forces study the enemy’s location, strength, composition, and potential. This is specific intel. A (SALUTE report)

1) God gives you His word (the Bible), your divine intel!

Maybe he may seem silent, but he’s always speaking. Once you believe that, it’ll tell you so much about the Lord and what vehicle through senses he specifically uses to speak to you (sight, sound, knowledge, emotions).

2) God gives us prayer and community. The Lord will see you through!

3) Fix your focus and study the strategy being used.

Then you know what you’re up against, what strongholds to demolish, what prayers to pray, and words to speak, for we don’t fight against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12-13), and man shall not live on bread alone but on God’s word. He is the living water, bread of life! (Matthew 4:4)

4) Once you already started the battle, believing you already won, you already won!

Your life is in the Lord’s hands. Everything you ever done or that somebody has done to you. It is finished. It’s all nailed on the cross. There’s no condemnation in Christ Jesus. You are free now. Believe it and go in peace. Jesus says your faith has made you well! Thank you, Holy Spirit. Amen.

Let us pray,

Lord, we humbly come before you, Jehovah El Elohim,  Jehovah Gibbor Milchamah. We cry out to the Lord, hear the cries of our hearts, and trust and know that relief is on the way. Help us to be still and know that you are God. Lion of the tribe of Judah, rise up and go before us, make the crooked paths straight and the rough places smooth. Lord rest your hand upon us, and your Shield of favor follow us wherever our feet take us, thank you Jesus. Spirit of truth, wisdom, and compassion, thank you for interceding on our behalf and helping us hear you, God, and see your mighty hand at work, no matter the circumstances. Train us, equip us, Lord, for the battles for us and those around us. Help us nurse each other back to health, heal our wounds, Lord, with our words sweet like honey for our brothers and sisters, loved ones. Let the fragrance of Christ wash over us and be like a tincture to the broken parts within us. Seal us and bind us with your love, your unquenchable love and fire that we would be refined and beautiful more than ever on the other side. Thank you, Jesus!. But we trust that the battle belongs to you and is already won! help us not be blind to the tools that we have right in front of us, teach us how to use it and fight not against flesh and blood but against the wickedness and the Kingdom of darkness but not to fix our eyes on the attack and the enemy but grants us the wisdom to pray with strategy, the unwavering Faith to trust in you always whether we can see or not but still fixing our eyes on the unseen. Thank you, Jesus. Lord help us to stand firm. Be sober-minded and on guard. Not out of fear, but out of spiritual sensitivity to you. Your voice and the nature of the spirit, and let us not always forget the full armor of God, Lord, we pray we put on the full armor of God every day and plead the blood of Jesus over ourselves and our loved ones. Help us to study the craftiness of the serpent, the strategy of the prowling lion, and rise above because we know that we are the head and not the tail. We are more than conquerors, and Christ Jesus and the gates of hell will not prevail. Help us keep ourselves from all immorality, taking every thought captive and being pure in thought, speech, and deed. Thank you, Jesus, for your blessings. Your protection in this time, we love you, Lord in Jesus, mighty, holy name, amen!
