This blog, as well as the leap of faith I took with my business, is meant to heal, encourage, and edify others in mind and soul that whether in sickness or in health, and the wounded inner child, you too can make something out of your life no matter the circumstance. In all that I do, I want to glorify my creator and provide resources for everyone, including the population that is always forgotten, excluded, and ostracized: adults with cognitive and physical disabilities. My works aren’t perfect, but in due time, it’ll reach someone it needs to.
There is more to life than just working from paycheck to paycheck; there is more to life than scrolling on your phone, watching everyone else pass you by. It’s not a race; rest, reflect, and do it at your own pace while facing uncertainty. If you start, all the tools you need will be given. “In repentance and rest is your salvation, and quietness and trust is your strength” Isaiah 30:15 . Be still and allow Him to do more than you ask or imagine. Why, you may ask? Only because of Him am I strong when I don’t want to be; only because of Him am I resilient, loving, and forgiving, and only because of him am I breathing. Waking up to a new day is a miracle in itself; the days I felt I couldn’t get past. It’s not a coincidence we’ve made it this far. We only have temporary gain from human efforts and the pleasures of the world. The full sustenance and provision in the pits and what pulled us out is the love, grace, compassion, and mercy of our Creator. It’s time to do creation with the Creator, see how far you’ll flourish, and soon you’ll thank me and, most importantly, God. Thank you, Jesus!
From the comfort of my home, bed-bound or mobile, I can serve and show up for others in a way that isn’t harmful to my health. To serve and foster a community that is healing through listening, encouragement, and offering advice to others.
