New FREE Mind Renewal Affirmation Flashcards

Hi, it’s a pleasure to meet you!

The name Sick Healer is ironic, contradictory, and meant to confuse. I felt the same when the Lord gave it to me years before my diagnosis. My illness doesn’t define my identity, but it’s one of the things that created me to be not just a survivor but a conqueror, as it’s a part of the disability I was also born with, and God makes no mistakes. He’s known for doing things that make no sense to the human mind because we’re not meant to know everything; we aren’t God, and we never will be. Doesn’t that take so much burden off of us? Thank you, Lord! What human eyes see as faulty, defective, broken, and useless, God sees as chosen, loved, beautiful, and an opportunity to be made new for his Glory. Even our mistakes He can turn around all for the good of those who love him.

“What human eyes see as faulty, defective, broken, and useless, God sees as chosen, loved, beautiful, and an opportunity to be made new for his Glory.”

-The Sick Healer

This blog, as well as the leap of faith I took with my business, is meant to heal, encourage, and edify others in mind and soul that whether in sickness or in health, and the wounded inner child, you too can make something out of your life no matter the circumstance. In all that I do, I want to glorify my creator and provide resources for everyone, including the population that is always forgotten, excluded, and ostracized: adults with cognitive and physical disabilities. My works aren’t perfect, but in due time, it’ll reach someone it needs to.

Core beliefs

There is more to life than just working from paycheck to paycheck; there is more to life than scrolling on your phone, watching everyone else pass you by. It’s not a race; rest, reflect, and do it at your own pace while facing uncertainty. If you start, all the tools you need will be given. “In repentance and rest is your salvation, and quietness and trust is your strength” Isaiah 30:15 . Be still and allow Him to do more than you ask or imagine. Why, you may ask? Only because of Him am I strong when I don’t want to be; only because of Him am I resilient, loving, and forgiving, and only because of him am I breathing. Waking up to a new day is a miracle in itself; the days I felt I couldn’t get past. It’s not a coincidence we’ve made it this far. We only have temporary gain from human efforts and the pleasures of the world. The full sustenance and provision in the pits and what pulled us out is the love, grace, compassion, and mercy of our Creator. It’s time to do creation with the Creator, see how far you’ll flourish, and soon you’ll thank me and, most importantly, God. Thank you, Jesus!

From the comfort of my home, bed-bound or mobile, I can serve and show up for others in a way that isn’t harmful to my health. To serve and foster a community that is healing through listening, encouragement, and offering advice to others.
